You can actually tank the stars attack get Crimsonwhorl Bubbletear and put it in your physick when the stars appear count 5 seconds and then drink the physick you should take no damage from the stars but physical damage can affect you.

Where do you get sleep pots from?
To craft Sleep Pots, you need the Fevor's Cookbook [1] as well as the Crafting Materials. The Cookbook is found on a corpse (sitting upright) in the graveyard on a plateau south from Summonwater Village Outskirts Site of Grace in Limgrave. Use the horizontal gravestones directly south of Summonwater Village to descend. Alternatively, from the Mistwood Outskirts Site of of Grace go northeast and ascend to the plateau using the large piece of ruin. There are two graveyards, one to the southeast and one to the south, the cookbook is on the southern one.

I got through the game. Still need to beat Varg in the tutorial. Damn he's hard when you do no harm at all. Would have loved to go in New Game + with all my health and strength. Tried avoiding him as well. Doesn't work for me and I can't figure out how to block his sweeping attack.

I fail to see the point of boss designs like this - specifically the camera, that comes in so close, stopping you from seeing the boss and what they are up to. It feels...lazy. one can't even appreciate the enormity of the boss, or the encounter, because all you can see are a tangle of limbs and necks and what not. Fromsoft, and all game designers, need to do better with these sorts of bosses.
Not a fan of the camera on this one? Yeah; it can be a pain when a lot of the boss's attacks and moves happen off camera. Keep fighting on. Don't give up. You got this.

The closes I got to killing her was second phase 50%hp, no matter how much that was the best I could do. Then I said screw it, I got the mimic tear ash and upgraded it to +10 and on the first attempt I died at the exact time she died 🙄 on my 3rd try I beat her using mimic tear ash.
